Natural Remedy for Head Lice

HEAD LICE!!

I always use natural remedies, and this is the best one I have found...

2 Teaspoons of Tea Tree Oil

1 fl oz of natural shampoo/castile soap

3 tablespoons of Coconut Oil or Olive Oil

Tea tree essential oil is a natural insecticide, making it an effective treatment for head lice.

The oil and soap will suffocate the lice.

Mix the ingredients together.

Apply the solution gently throughout the hair and cover head with a shower cap or towel.

Leave head covered for a half an hour to an hour and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. (as warm as possible without burning)

Finally, comb hair while it is still wet with a nit comb to remove the dead lice.

Note: DO NOT apply tea tree oil directly to the scalp.

Repeat the treatment every 5-7 days until there are no more nits/lice.
